Kellie & Garrett's McGrath Ranch Wedding

We have shot some seriously gorgeous weddings this September and cannot wait to share them all! It is our favorite time of year when the evenings start to get a little cooler, but days are still filled with beach time and BBQ’s. Not to mention some killer light! Starting off what is sure to be lots of blogging in the coming weeks, are Garrett and Kellie's lovely ranch wedding.

Their love story started at a Ventura-County favorite, Cronies Sports Bar. Garrett and Kellie’s were co-worker’s. Their working relationship quickly turned into romance and the two became a fast couple.

Kellie's kind-heart, warm spirit, and bright smile matched perfectly with Garrett's playfulness, loyalty, and equally bight smile. We weren't one bit surprised when Garrett popped the question, last year, to make it official!

We were thrilled when they reached out to us to capture their wedding day, and knew it was going to be a giant celebration of two beautiful, adventurous and most-of-all FUN-loving human beings coming together. They are a couple that makes everyone around them feel like family. This was all-to evident at our venue walk-through that turned into a surprise wine-tasting, delicious dinner, and time spent with the couples’ family and friends.

We couldn’t have been more excited by the time their big day arrived!

Garrett and Kellie were married at a family avocado and lemon orchard. This 1900’s farm home is surrounded by tall trees, vast fields, and the McGrath seasonal pumpkin patch. Their wedding was full of unique DIY touches, lots of laughs + love, and the undeniable feeling that a “rager” was to ensue after the “I do’s.”  The dancing went on for hours with a crowd of guests charged up with Scooters BBQ, bumping tunes, ample beverages, and a Mr. Softee ice cream truck that served up a nonstop array of cold and creamy deliciousness.

These two are truly the “Host and Hostess with the Mostess”.
