June Lake Wedding at the Double Eagle Resort and Spa // Jordan & Savannah

Shooting a wedding in the Eastern Sierras has been a dream of ours since we started our business and this year we made it a reality! Savannah and Jordan chose the Double Eagle Resort and Spa in June Lake, California for their wedding location. It is nestled in the corner of the June Lake Loop, an iconic drive (especially during the fall months) just north of Mammoth Lakes. The Double Eagle sits amongst hundreds of aspen and pine trees with cabins sprinkled throughout the property and the towering crags of the Sierra Nevada mountains thousands of feet above.

Redwood Ranch Wedding // Mike & Amanda

Nothing but the best vibes looking back on Mike & Amanda’s wedding at the base of Sequoia National Park! They wanted their wedding to feel more like a kick-back weekend with all their people filled with camping, river hangs, and good music than all the traditional stuff. And, it was all that and more.

Wayferers Chapel Wedding // Hayley & Stephen

Hayley & Stephen were married in the sweetest little glass chapel surrounded by majestic redwoods and sweeping views of the ocean in the background. They are the sweetest couple who love the outdoors and their darling pup, Brady, all of which were incorporated into their day. Hayley and Stephen were cool as cucumbers as they got ready with their wedding party and family in the San Pedro Harbor. It was a classic spring foggy morning and just as we were leaving for the chapel the sun made her debut, making for some gorgeous bouncing light in the chapel.

Casie & Matt's Walnut Grove Wedding

Inspiration is something Lynds and I seek thoroughly in our work and this day takes the cake for one of our most inspiring weddings we’ve shot. Having grown up very close to Casie and Matt’s venue, I never thought that I could be so inspired by Walnut Grove. You see, at a certain point, things around my hometown began losing their photographic luster. I guess you could say I was jaded and uninspired. So, on the day we met this engaging and kind-hearted couple for a walk-through of this stunning and still-working farm + wedding space, my inspirational juices started bubbling up. We were so excited for Casie and Matt and their big day last fall.

Max & Kayla's Ojai Private Estate Wedding

We've had the pleasure of getting to know Max, Kayla and their beautiful daughters, Ella and Olivia over the past year. It all started at a local coffee shop in Ventura where we heard about their long-time relationship, Max's career as a fireman, and Kayla's career working as a hair stylist at one of the hippest salon's in Ventura. We quickly new this was an extremely hard-working, down-to-earth, gracious, and loyal pair. We were hooked!!

Taryn & Dave's Orange Lawn Tennis Club Wedding

If this wedding is any indication of our 2018 season, we are in for one exciting and adventurous year ahead - just the way we like it!

Taryn & Dave’s wedding week started with a few heart-pumping days early in the week. Geoff and I were to travel from a sunny Southern California across the country, and right into a Nor’easter winter storm in New York.  We absolutely love the snow and were over-the-moon to shoot a true winter wedding.

Laura & Don's Franciscan Gardens Wedding

Laura and Don’s beautiful Franciscan Gardens wedding was such a special day to cap off our 2017 wedding season. We’re so happy to finally share it!

I know we've said it before, but it's worth repeating: fall weddings will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We don’t get much as far as a change of season’s here in Southern California, but there is something so magical about the subtle shift of light and crispness in the air during fall.
