This wedding was filled with lots of dogs, DIY touches, warm tones, and golden light. Eveline & Scotty bought their first home together this time last year and decided after they closed that they would forego a ‘wedding venue’ and turn their backyard into a perfect oasis for them to get married. They spent the next 9 months getting their landscaping and LOTS of DIY projects ready for their big day.

Savannah and Jordan chose the Double Eagle Resort and Spa in June Lake, California for their wedding location. It is nestled in the corner of the June Lake Loop, an iconic drive (especially during the fall months) just north of Mammoth Lakes. The Double Eagle sits amongst hundreds of aspen and pine trees with cabins sprinkled throughout the property and the towering crags of the Sierra Nevada mountains thousands of feet above.

It was a classic spring foggy morning and just as we were leaving for the chapel the sun made her debut, making for some gorgeous bouncing light in the chapel.
