Ashley & Justin’s wedding will forever be a memorable one for us. Firstly, it was our first wedding back from our maternity & paternity leave after our second baby girl was born earlier this year. It was also our first wedding back with no restrictions after the rollercoaster pandemic year. After so much downtime, micro-weddings, and elopements, it was a shock in the absolute BEST way to be around a large group of people again, seeing everyone enjoy a meal together at one giant table, and best of all.. DANCING!!

After months of postponements, I remember how nice it felt to be shooting again and how lovely it felt to be around other adults besides each other. We had the best time with these two rays of sunshine and their sweet pup, Eloise. And the best part, we had the entire area to ourselves!

We had such a fun, enjoyable evening with this sweet couple.

Lake Placid is about 1.5 hours from the Canadian border in the Adirondack Mountains. It was no easy feat to get to from Southern California and I’d be lying if I said we weren’t a little nervous about traveling across the country with our 5 month old at the time.
